International Conference On DAO Regulation

BlockchainGov will be participating in the upcoming International Conference on DAO Regulation, hosted by the Lisbon DAO Observatory. The event will take place on April 20th, 2023, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Portugal.

This conference will bring together scholars, industry players, and practitioners from around the world to discuss the most pressing issues surrounding DAO regulation.

Over the course of the conference, participants will engage in discussions on a variety of topics, including the shape of any future DAO regulation (direct legislative intervention, self-regulation, or no regulation at all?), mandatory decentralisation, legal personality, governance structures, limited liability and ability to contract, and sectorial issues such as dispute resolution, civil liability, tax law, criminal law, and conflict of laws.
