Extitutions & Blockchain / Web3 Research Workshop

This research workshop was focused on extitutional theory, which is about the interplay between institutions and extitutions. The events included discussions on the differences between institutionalization and extitutionalization, the power dynamics between institutions and extitutions, and the role of trust and confidence in collective action.

Other topics covered included the use of extitutions in the Decentralized Web, Extitutional Governance, Extitutional Exclosures, and the Extitute of Research. In addition, different presentations, case studies, and discussions have been made, focusing on practical applications in the blockchain space.

Finally, the workshop on Friday, September 16, focused on designing an Oracle intermediary/interface specification, which would likely refer to the technical requirements for building a middleware layer that connects external data sources to blockchain smart contracts.

Overall, this event aimed to explore the potential of extitutions, their relationship with institutions, and their practical applications in various fields, including blockchain and decentralized technologies.
